Kiwis are coming!

Today we had an Enviro trip to Mill Creek Wind Farm to help plant native trees in preparation for the kiwis. So excited to be involved in Capital Kiwi project.

We nearly got blowen away when we had a quick look at the wind turbines on the way home!

 

Arbor Day with a difference!

This year the Enviro team decided we needed to focus on people.
During the Covid lockdown some families have been doing it tough, so we decided to do a food drive to support Kaibosh and help them with all the work they do feeding those in need.
Everyone was encouraged to check out their pantry and find all the tins and non perishables that had been stock piled for lockdown and bring them in.
Everyone was encouraged to wear green and brown to show you care.

 Ngā mihi everyone, the generosity shown was incredible.

 So much food packed and ready to be delivered to Kaibosh.

Seaweek dress up day!

 Today the whole of school dressed up as sea  creatures for Seaweek.

 Aren't our sea creature outfits amazing!

 We brought in gold coins to support Forest and Bird-Oceans, and help them with the amazing work they do.
