Popcorn!

 Today we did the big harvest. We grew the best popping corn cobs this year.

Already to dry a bit more and then pop!

Movin’ March Monday

To celebrate the end of Movin’ March we made Monday marvellous.

Everyone decorated their shoes and got walking.

Ngā mihi nui to the road patrollers who kept us safe as we walked to school.

Sea week!

 This year  we decided to do something a bit different for Seaweek.

As part of whanau/house afternoon we all made parts to a whole school collaborative art work.

Today we announced about Movin' March coming up soon.

Jam making time.

 We collected all the cape gooseberries and strawberries from the veggie garden and made some jam

 The jam was for the Mihi whakatau, to go on pikelets , and for Louise Cake,  to share with the whanau.

Oxfam Oxmas day.

The whole school looking very festive and celebrating Christmas.

We sang adn collected cans and coins.

The coins we gave to Oxfam to support families overseas.

The cans we dropped off to the Johnsonville Salvation Army to support families in need.
